Wish for the MoonLike all of Celia Yeary's books, WISH FOR THE MOON evokes a sense of time and place with extraordinary clarity. The author is a masterful storyteller, giving richness and gravity to even everyday people and events. In a story like this one -- in which events are far from everyday -- her talent really shines.

I've been a devoted fan of Mrs. Yeary's western historical romances for years. Though WISH FOR THE MOON is set slightly later than her previous works, it's equally engrossing, thanks in no small part to seemingly little details that will stick with readers long after they've sighed at the end.
